Recently, Kenny Anderson sat down with Friends of Build Magazine’s podcast
host Ted Bainbridge to discuss his business, why he loves being a Park City home builder, and
his philosophy for success.

Kenny decided to make the switch to home building after years of working in the real estate
market. In 2011, he approached the owner of Highland Custom Homes and offered to begin
marketing for the company. Several years later, Kenny and Matt bought out the original partner
of Highland Homes and have been building incredible custom homes ever since.

When it comes to building in Park City, Kenny is passionate about creating peaceful homes
where people can escape.

“I think when they come here, they feel that peace, that relaxation,” Kenny said in the podcast.
He mentioned that he loves to meet people from around the world who recognize the beauty in
Utah, and relishes being part of the exciting homebuilding environment in Promontory. As a Park
City home builder, he is excited to have years ahead of him developing this gorgeous area.

In the podcast, Kenny and Ted also discuss Kenny’s philosophy for being a successful Utah
custom home builder and entrepreneur.

One of Kenny’s core values is focusing on all the positive things that are happening in the world.
He believes that success is a matter of choice and not a matter of chance. He focuses on bettering himself so he can be a better resource and value to those around him.

“Real success has much more to do with the value and contribution you give into the world and
others than what we try to consume,” he said.
